Probat Burns to Sponsor Intelligentsia Coffee Event
We're excited to serve as a platinum-level sponsor of Intelligentsia Coffee's Extraordinary Coffee Workshop (ECW) in Los Angeles, October 27–30. We will bring three Probatino coffee roasters to the workshop so attendees — coffee growers representing 18 countries — can learn how to roast coffee. We wholeheartedly support the ECW's mission to unite growers committed to quality and help them share their knowledge. We're always eager to meet coffee growers and to promote their education and well-being, and we look forward to the event!

Anacafés Escuela de Café Receives Their Probatino!
We were pleased to learn that Anacafé received their new Probatino! Late last year Probat Burns donated a Probatino to the SCAA for their annual Roasters Guild Retreat. Each year the retreat hosts a roastmaster challenge, and the winner of that challenge chooses a beneficiary to receive a new Probatino roaster. Anacafé, the beneficiary, plans to use their new Probatino to teach coffee growers to roast and cup their own coffee.

New Color Measuring Unit: The Colorette 3B
The new Colorette 3B incorporates new features designed for easy maintenance. The device allows for user replacement of the LED module, and the grey color-reference plates can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement without special servicing.
