
Probat Burns' cocoa nib grinders are designed to grind shell-less cocoa beans into cocoa mass/cocoa liquor. Recently upgraded to improve capacity, the high-performance SMM grinder series can achieve capacities of up to 8,800 pounds per hour — depending on the machine size and condition of the cocoa nibs — at a consistent particle size.
Additional features include:
- Dosing screw for carefully controlling the flow of raw nibs
- High-speed rotating blades for grinding and releasing cocoa butter for manufacturing cocoa liquor
- Screens for controlling particle size
- Temperature regulation to avoid overheating the cocoa liquor
- Swiveling cover for easy access to blades and screens
